DG Dental surgery has a strong prevention philosophy with the community. We have several community based programs such as the Tooth Fairy Program and a Senior program called Ageing with a Smile. DG Dental gives priority to prevention of dental problems which helps to lower the burden of the cost of dental treatment to the patients under our care.

Dr Sean Hogan
Dentist
Dr Hogan graduated from Melbourne University in 1995, and is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Hogan has a particular interest in oral surgery. Dr Hogan's experience has encompassed private practice duties as well as teaching. Dr Hogan is very experienced in taking out wisdom teeth and placing implants, including surgery under general anaesthetic. Out of work he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
Dr Sylvia Fayez

Dr Fayez graduated from Otago University, New Zealand in 2003. Dr Fayez is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Fayez is an experienced practitioner who has been part of our team since 2006. Dr Fayez enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in Invisalign and Cosmetic Dentistry .Out of work she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteers with scouts.
Dr Mitchell R Urdea

Dr Urdea has provided high standard dental care in the eastern suburbs for over 20 years.
Dr Urdea has had extensive training and experience in all aspects of dental care and, is highly motivated by patient’s wellbeing. Dr Urdea has a gentle caring approach and enjoys a happy, loyal patient base.
Dr Urdea tries to keep fit and active, likes outdoors, is a regular gym goer and enjoys gardening in particular.

Dr Jing graduated from Melbourne University in 2006. Dr Jing is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Jing has a special interest in Orthodontics, Endodontic Dentistry, and Crown and Bridge. Out of work she enjoys travelling and spending time with friends.
Dr Enoka Banda

Dr Banda graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1997. She received her ADEC in Melbourne in 2006. Dr Banda is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Banda enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Out of work she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and listening to music.
Mr Alex Kanzburg

Since 1970, in true family tradition, Mr Kanzburg has followed his father's footsteps and continued on with his family denture business. Mr Kanzburg graduated from RMIT in 2007. Out of work he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Dr Catherine Fu
Dentist
Dr Fu graduated from La Trobe University, Bendigo in 2013. Dr Fu is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Fu enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in children's dentistry. Dr Fu is currently teaching at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. Out of work hours she enjoys meditation, playing piano, volunteer work and spending time with family and friends.

We are so pleased to announce the commencement of Marta Urdea at DG DENTAL.
Marta managed Dr Mitchell Urdea’s dental practice for 22 years.
Day-to-day, you’ll find Marta Urdea tending to the daily office operations and assisting where needed. While she doesn’t spend all day on the reception, she enjoys contributing behind the scenes and making sure that we are staying connected with our patients. Marta’s gentle touch and friendly chairside manner helps patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit.
Marta strives to ensure our patients always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. To her, there's nothing more gratifying than educating and helping patients overcome their dental fears.
Outside of the office, Marta enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, spending time with friends and family and going on walks while enjoying the outdoors.
